I never knew you could do this. It seems like a great idea to get more traffic on your blog and regular visitors. Im fairly new to wordpress so articles like these are very helpful, thankyou

  • I didnt know we could do this! Having a forum in the blog? But what are the different between a forum and comment field? This sound intressting but I have a difficulties to make people comment on my posts so why would they use the forum instead?

    • Alok says:

Interesting question. Let me clear it out for you a bit. Forums are not to get appreciated for your blog content on achievements. Forums have nothing related to your blog comments. The only reason behind starting a forum on your site is to help out your readers with different queries or solutions.

And if you ask me to join a forum I will first check how active it is and how many issues have been resolved in it. But I also believe that forums are not suitable for specific sites like a personal blog, travel blog, etc. Because I don’t see any issues to solve related those blogs niches.

I hope its now clear to you if not feel free to ask me more.

Thanks for the tips! Are there any forum plugins that come with an integrated listserv? I need a forum that users can access online in the typical fashion or choose to interact with strictly through email. I would super grateful if you could give me some suggestions.

  • Alok: I found your post via BizSugar. I am thinking of adding a forum to my new site & blog on tea, writing and self-publishing journey. How would you compare a forum with a membership section? Do you have a price range for the premium features?

    • Alok says:

      Hello Martin,

Thanks for reaching by. Actually, there is no fixed price range for premium features you need to do some research on it as per your current and future requirements. And as for the comparison of forums with membership section. I have tried to make this list as helpful as I can these listed forums plugins are the most famous plugins as per customers reviews and features.
