Simple and Step-Wise Procedure of Setting Any Song As iPhone Ringtone Without Using iTunes
Definitely, the iPhones have succeeded in providing uncomplicated features with all its functional areas except one i.e. downloading music and ringtones without using iTunes. Yes, people usually have to resort to iTunes to download music in iPhones. Whether an iPhone holder has to download a song, any audio or any ringtone, the usual option available is to download it from iTunes, which is a tough procedure to follow sometimes.
For this, here is a simple step-wise procedure to be followed to set any song as your iPhone ringtone without using iTunes or computer.
Download the song or ringtone in your iPhone music library that u wish to set up as your device ringtone.
On your iPhone device, go to the app store and download and install an app naming ‘GarageBand’ from there.
After you download and install the GarageBand app on your iPhone, open it and click continue. Keep scrolling all instruments until you find Audio Recorder. Click on the audio recorder and then tap the settings icon on the right-hand top most side. Then click the song tab and turn off ‘Metronome’ and then click done.
Click on the arrow appearing on the left-hand top corner and from a drop down box, click instrument and again click audio recorder. Over here tap the View button and after that click on the loop button on the top right corner.
Choose the music tab and click on songs. Select any of the songs you want to set as your iPhone ringtone.
Hold and drag the sound clipping you have selected right or left in order to add it to the garage band. If you want to edit the sound clipping regarding its length.
If the sound clip is short you can click the add button on the right top side in order to increase the length of the ringtone.
If the sound clip is long, you can cut short your clip to the desired length in the editing section.
When you are done with the editing of the track, click the arrow on the left top side and from the drop down menu select my songs.
Select and hold the icon appearing of your song and there you will see that options in the menu will be visible on the top. Click the share icon from there and then tap the ringtone icon.
You may rename the ringtone if you want and then click the export button.
When the ringtone is exported, there will appear a box notifying that ringtone is exported successfully. Then click on ‘Use Sound as’ and then choose any alternative that you wish to listen to your ringtone as.
This is one simple way, where you can easily set any of your favorite sounds as your iPhone ringtones without using iTunes.
